Want to know more about your local Co-op? This workshop will give you a chance to see the ins-and-outs of UVFC. Take a deeper look into our building and facilities. Learn more about our various departments. Find out how we strive to decrease the gap between consumers and anonymous food. Get an opportunity to ask questions along the way! Join us for our monthly Game Night event upstairs at the Co-op! Play a round of Co-opoly, Scrabble, Pictionary, or play your favorite card game. Feel free to bring your own game to share! Light refreshments provided! Age 18+. Please call ahead in the event of inclement weather.
Cheese Pairing w/ Jason Mills Saturday, February 11th, 6pm
Join us for an evening of Cheese. During this class we will explore the different types of cheese, scrape the surface of some pairing options and then of course, we will indulge. Spruce up your entertaining abilities before the holiday party and discover your new favorite cheese. We hope this class will excite you and act as a steppingstone into the endless options of cheese pairing. This workshop is $10 for members or $15 for non-members and open to the Upper Valley Community. Registration required. The Power in Your Hands Wednesday, February 1st, February 15th, and March 1st 10am-noon
Join Frances McManus in this workshop series to practice healing through your hands. Discover and Experience Yoga for your hands, in this 3 part class. Registration required. Wear loose comfortable clothing. Creative Living Series: Talkin’ Trash with Olivia Lapierre Thursday, February 16th, 6pm
Join Olivia for her second workshop on Zero Waste living. Olivia will delve deeper into the benefits to this sustainable lifestyle and how it can be done with small and simple changes to reduce your footprint. Create your own vegan, waste-free and toxic-free deoderant! Join us for this special event and be inspired to incorporate new sustainable practices in your daily life! Registration required. The Member Library is a collection of donated and gathered books and DVDs on topics related to Food and Alternative Living. It is located upstairs in the Classroom. The Library is open to the Upper Valley community during Library Open Hours. Visitors are welcome to sit and enjoy the books, and Library members may check out books. Talk to the Librarian on staff during open hours to find out how to become a Library member. Look at our open hours schedule to find a time that works best for you!
