August Events at the Co-op

Upcoming Events:

Total Eclipse (partial in Upper Valley) Monday, August 21stall-day

Step outside to today with some special solar glasses to participate in viewing a rare solar occurrence. Unfortunately we fall outside the total eclipse path but you can still have a chance to experience a partial eclipse. Check out NASA’s website, to find the ideal time to observe the maximum eclipse given your location on the 21st (should be around 6:43 in the evening). Can’t get goggles in time? Follow this link to make a pinhole viewer. Don’t forget you can only view the eclipse with special eye-wear or using methods like a pinhole camera.
