COVID-19 Updates

Shopping Guidelines.png
Effective Monday, March 14th, 2022

Following state guidance, our co-op will be adjusting our mask policy starting Monday, March 14th. For all staff and customers, mask wearing will be encouraged, but not required. We continue to ask that anyone who has symptoms of a respiratory illness stay home and make use of our curbside service. When in the store, please remember to give space to other customers when possible. Eating or sampling from the bulk bins is never allowed.

Thank you for being a part of our co-op community,

The Management and Staff of the Upper Valley Food Co-op

Effective Monday, August 9th, 2021

Dear Co-op Members and Customers,

Due to the increasing cases of Covid-19, we've decided to reinstate our mask requirement starting Monday, August 9th. Customers will be required to wear masks, regardless of their vaccination status. Staff will continue to wear masks. At this time, our customer limit will remain at 20, but we will continue to adjust our protocols as the situation changes.

Please keep an eye out for any announcements about protocol changes, and thank you for being patience with our staff and management as we work to ensure the safety of our staff and customers.

In happier news, we've decided that it's time for our nut butters to return to a serve yourself set-up. Customers are allowed to bring their own bulk containers as long as those containers are empty and CLEAN. We're also allowing clean travel mugs to be used for coffee and tea in our deli.

Sincerely,
Upper Valley Food Co-op Management and Staff

Effective Monday, June 14th, 2021

Dear Co-op Members and Customers,

Firstly, we want to thank you all for being so patient this past year and a half, and for continuing to shop with us. We wouldn't exist without you and we are so thankful for your support.

There have been a lot of changes to our store over the course of this pandemic, with addition of Curbside Shopping as well as mask mandates and other shopping restrictions. For the health and safety of our staff and shoppers, we erred on the side of caution, and we're glad we did. But we've decided that it's time to ease some of our restrictions.

Going forward, vaccinated customers will still be encouraged to wear a mask within the store, but it is no longer required. Unvaccinated customers will still be required to wear a mask. Staff will continue to wear masks. The customer capacity will be raised to 20, though we will ask people to continue to keep their distance whenever possible.

Our protocols will likely continue to change as we move forward into summer, so please continue to be patient with us as we do our best to adapt.

Sincerely,
Upper Valley Food Co-op Management and Staff
