What is a Member Worker?
Member Workers are Upper Valley Food Co-op members who give their time to the Co-op in exchange for a discount! Some things that Member Workers do here at the Co-op are:
helping out with First Friday festivities
stocking bulk herbs and spices
facing grocery products
making informative panels for outreach events
assisting with our Anniversary Picnic celebration
supporting our Member Library
facilitating Membership Drives
and so much more!
What are the BENEFITS of becoming a Member Worker?
For every 2 hours of working, Member Workers receive a "blue card", which entitles them to a 20% discount on up to $75. Additionally, Member Workers are able to connect with their community through interactions with co-op staff and customers. This is an opportunity to gain unique skills, learn how co-ops function, and meet new people!
